A favorite restaurant of J.T. Whitlock, 80, is Cedarwood Restaurant. He likes to eat at the Liars' Table with other locals from Lebanon, Ky.

J.T. Whitlock, 80, and Madden Howard, 79, have been friends for over 60 years. They double-dated before each got married. Now, Whitlock picks up Howard every day and brings him to "work" at a garage in town so that Howard will not lie in bed all day. Howard had just fallen off the sidewalk, and Whitlock helped him to the car.

J.T. Whitlock, 80, manages to go to bed every night at 12:05 a.m. and get up between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. He uses an electric razor every day in order to get ready for his many meetings.

The lawnmower that J.T. Whitlock, 80, has is at least 25 years old. Whitlock says that he has worn it out three times and rebuilt it so that it still works.

Whitlock, 80, had his skin burned in an explosion in Japan during World War II, and he had to have skin grafts. Since he was not able to let the grafts heal correctly, he only has one layer of skin on his hands.
