Johnny Dennis walks back to his truck after fueling up at the Ralph Dennis Grocery. Despite sharing the same last name Dennis is not related to Ralph and Norma Dennis the store owners.

After delivering a load of gasoline John Mason takes a second to talk with Norma and Ralph Dennis as Norma writes out a check. From exit U.S. 127 and KY 555 on the Martha Collins Bluegrass Parkway the Ralph Dennis Grocery is the only stop for gas.

Norma Dennis, 76, is in tune with the 1921 cash register as she rings up another sale at the Ralph Dennis Grocery she co-owns with her husband Ralph.

After a morning of errands, Ralph Dennis, 78, naps in the back of the Ralph Dennis Grocery he co-owns with his wife Norma. The store sells groceries, gas, and cattle feed, and takes in aluminum for recycling.

Bennett Myers, 1, cuddles with his great-grandma Norma Dennis, 76, in the kitchen located in the back of the grocery store she co-owns with her husband Ralph. Myers was visiting his great-grandma to help celebrate his mom's 34th birthday.

Norma Dennis, 76, combs the hair of her husband of 58 years, Ralph, 78, to ready him for a haircut he was planning to get. Ralph fell last winter at a church function and with the fall lost some flexibility in his right arm so Norma helps to comb his hair.
