A Cut Above

At the start of everyday Harris gets to work a little early to drink coffee and to read the newspaper. The barber shop opens at 8am, but Harris typically gets there at 7:45am.

Charles Ray Harris trims the hair of a customer. Harris has been been cutting hair for over 40 years. "Being a barber is an up close and personal profession," Harris said.

Boden Diel, 2, gets a trim, while he holds a couple of the toys the barber shop has. "He (Harris) has cut four generations of my families hair," said Amanda Diel, Boden's mother.

A customer gets his haircut by Harris. Harris said he gives 12-15 haircuts a day, which he has been doing for over 50 years.
